Or other’s as local resources allow. (Residents need exposure to each of the above disciplines in the course of their training). Didactics will include 3 hours per week via distance learning activities, backed up and applied during 2 hours per week live activities at each site.
Continuity Clinic Hours at El Rio Cherrybell (except in specified rotations):
Years 1, 2: Three half days per week
Year 3: Four half days per week
* Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC) is our rotation at the El Rio Cherrybell clinic dedicated to the outpatient care of our patients. Most of the rotation is engaged with clinical care. This is also supplemented by review of our patient panels in order to address gaps in care. Discussions are held on how to improve the health of the community through our clinical practice as well as a COPC Scholarly Project that targets specific needs of the community. Each resident works on a COPC project throughout their 3 years of residency.
Our El Pueblo Pharmacy will close at noon on Friday, August 4th and will remain closed on Saturday, August 5th. It will reopen with normal business hours on Monday, August 7th. We apologize for any inconvenience.
