Physical Therapist

El Rio Health is looking for a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist to join a growing physical therapy practice at the Southeast Clinic located at 6950 E. Golf Links, Tucson, Arizona. We are the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Arizona and one of the largest in the nation. We have been serving the Tucson Community for over 50+ years offering comprehensive primary medical care, physical therapy and dental services.

As a physical therapist you will be providing PT services to patients/clients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • One (1) years’ experience as a physical therapist. Community health, home health, outpatient or acute care setting.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

  • National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and/or state examination required by the state of Arizona.
  • Current Arizona State Physical Therapy license in good standing.
  • A current Provider CPR certification from an accredited program.

If applicable, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job.

Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities:

  • Graduated with a doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a physical therapist. Community health, home health, outpatient or acute care setting.
  • Pelvic Floor training
  • Full-time
  • Spanish Speaking
