Learn exercises that improve muscle and bone strength, posture, balance and body awareness. Excellent for fall-prevention and strengthening bones. This class is appropriate for movers of all levels.
A fun, safe, all-inclusive exercise class for people of all body shapes and fitness levels. Move at your own pace and range with modifications and recommendations provided by the instructor.
Cardio aerobic workout with strength and conditioning training using body weight, tubing and intervals. For all fitness levels.
Exercises sitting in and standing beside a chair. You will use hand weights, balls and tubing to challenge yourself and build towards moving more. A fun way to socialize and work on strength, stretching and balance.
Tai Chi combines breathing, gentle movement and mindfulness in order to improve balance, energy, strength and coordination. This class is excellent for movers of all levels and movers managing pain.
Increase strength and stamina with this indoor walking and resistance training exercise program. Class alternates between walking and resistance training for upper and lower body using resistance bands.
Stretch, breath and relax your body with various standing and seated/laying body poses. This class is appropriate for intermediate movers.

Reduce stress, bring awareness to the body and clear the mind while using the support of a chair. Yoga poses performed while in a seated or standing position. This is a great introduction to yoga for first-time movers or those who have high pain or limited mobility.
Try one of our Zumba classes! Dance your way to fitness with an aerobic fitness program featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance. These classes are open to the entire community and you do not need to be an El Rio patient, employee or family member to attend. Pre-registration is not required.
