Movement Classes
El Rio Health offers a variety of classes to get you moving!
Take a look at the class descriptions and videos below for more information. Classes are open to all levels of movers and all body shapes and sizes. Click the registration links to see class dates and times and to register for a class. Once you submit registration you are all ready to start attending class! We look forward to seeing you in a class soon.

Better Backs
Manage pain and improve back health and mobility. Workout includes floor work, core strengthening and stretching.
Better Balance
Improve balance and confidence. Workout includes both seated and standing movement. Learn exercises to improve posture, strength and stability.
Better Bones
Practice exercises that improve muscle and bone strength, posture, balance and body awareness. Excellent for fall-prevention and strengthening bones.
Get Strong
An advanced cardio aerobic workout with strength and conditioning training using body weight, tubing and dynamic intervals.
Sit Fit
Beginner exercise class using a chair. A fun way to start moving and work on strength, stretching and balance.
Tai Chi
Improve balance, energy and coordination through breathing, gentle movement and body awareness. This class can also help decrease pain.
Walking Workout
Increase strength and stamina with this indoor walking and resistance training class. Workout using an indoor track and resistance bands for upper and lower body training.
Yoga
Stretch, breath and relax your body with various standing, seated and laying body poses.
Chair Yoga
A class for first-time movers or those with pain or limited mobility. Yoga poses using a chair for support. Reduce stress, bring awareness to the body and clear the mind.
Zumba
Dance your way to fitness. Featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance. These classes are open to the entire community and you do not need to be an El Rio patient, employee or family member to attend. Pre-registration is not required.
