El Rio Health is looking for a full-time Registered Dietician (Wellness and Health Promotion) to join our practice in Arizona’s largest community health center in Tucson, Arizona. We are the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (QHC) in Arizona and one of the largest in the nation. We have been serving the Tucson Community for over 25+ years offering comprehensive primary medical care, wellness and nutrition, physical therapy, and dental services.
As a Registered Dietician you will be providing effective individual and group self management education and medical nutrition therapy as well as individualized and group teaching plans. A Registered Dietician serves as an informational resource and subject matter expert for patients, physicians, healthcare team members, families and staff, on nutrition and nutrition education.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field from an accredited university and course work accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Bi-lingual candidates preferred.
