Marinah Phelps

My name is Marinah Phelps, and I am one of the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residents here at El Rio Health. I am from Cedarburg, Wisconsin and completed my pharmacy degree at Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. El Rio Health provides opportunities for me to work with a variety of chronic disease states as I prepare for a career as an ambulatory care pharmacist. I am proud to be a part of a healthcare team that provides quality care to underserved communities, and I am looking forward to building strong clinical skills and making meaningful connections with patients and healthcare team members along the way. In my free time I enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family!

McKenna Knock

My name is McKenna Knock, and I am one of the 2024-2025 PGY-1 residents here at El Rio Health. I am originally from Toledo, Iowa. I received my PharmD from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. I am eager to continue my professional development here at El Rio Health, an organization that is dedicated to providing excellent health care for the Tucson community and has innovative pharmacy models. As a pharmacist, I am interested in chronic disease state management, HIV care, and academia. Outside of residency, I have enjoyed exploring Tucson looking for the best restaurants, hiking trails, and ice cream!

Janet Siqueiros

My name is Janet Siqueiros, and I am one of the current PGY-1 pharmacy residents at El Rio Health. I am a Tucson native who loves her community and surrounding culture. I completed my PharmD degree here, at the University of Arizona R. Ken Coit College of Pharmacy, and am excited to pursue postgraduate training. I am privileged to have matched with a pharmacy residency program such as El Rio’s, whose core values of delivering compassionate, accessible, and comprehensive care resonate deeply with my patient care philosophy. I am looking forward to gaining additional skills and experience in chronic disease state management, such as in the diabetes disease state, with a key focus on patient education and mitigating barriers to care. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and faith-based community!
