We provide affirming, respectful, and quality healthcare to pediatric and adult transgender and gender non-conforming patients. Transgender people often face particular obstacles and discrimination when it comes to getting the care they need. Our providers and care teams are committed to providing high-quality, trans-affirming care.
In addition to transgender health, El Rio Health provides LGBTQ+-affirming health services to our patients. We offer a range of healthcare services, including primary care, and behavioral health services to help meet the needs of our LGBTQ+ patients.
El Rio LGBTQ+ health services include:
• Hormone administration and monitoring • HIV & AIDS care and prevention (including PrEP and PEP) • Specialized HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C medical care and treatment • Gynecological screenings and care • Integrated services with our behavioral health, dental, and primary care
